How to check your PERL syntax.

How to check your PERL syntax:

Log in to your account manager.

Select Perl Checker from the Website Tools & Information row.

Select the script that you wish to check. Before Using PERL Checker:

  1. Make sure you upload your PERL scripts in the 'ASCII' format (not in 'BINARY' format).
  2. Make sure that the file extension is either .pl or .cgi
  3. Make sure the permissions are set correctly. Scripts should be set to 755 (or rwxr-xr-x). Your FTP program should allow you to change permissions if neccessary. (e.g., WS FTP)
